We are excited to announce that we are currently accepting submissions for book reviews and author interviews. We’re looking for fun, creative, and analytical pieces that will engage our readers. Feel free to play around with your writing style and be as witty or as creative as you like. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your work:

Book Reviews:

• The submitted book review should be between 600-1500 words.
• Please use a 12pt font size and Times New Roman font style.
• We encourage writers to showcase their unique voices and writing style.
• Be sure to provide a well-rounded analysis of the book, including insights into its themes, characters, writing style, and overall impact.
• Feel free to incorporate personal anecdotes, relevant comparisons, and examples to support your review.
• Ensure your review is engaging, informative, and spoiler-free.
• Please proofread your work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors before submission.

Author Interviews:

• We are interested in written or transcribed interviews with Nigerian or African writers, as well as writers published on the continent.
• The interview should be within the range of 600 to 2500 words.
• The interview should be conducted in a conversation style, creating an engaging and authentic interaction between the interviewer and the author.
• Please prepare a list of thoughtful questions that delve into the author’s background, writing process, inspirations, challenges, and any other relevant topics.
• Be sure to capture the author’s unique voice and insights throughout the interview.
• If necessary, provide context and additional information to enrich the reader’s understanding of the interviewee’s work.

Submission Process:

• All submissions should be sent via email to admin@rovingheights.com.
• Use the title of your submission as the subject line of the email.
• Include a short bio (around 50 words) about yourself in the body of the email.
• Attach your submission as a Word document or a compatible file format.
• Please adhere to the specified word limits and formatting guidelines mentioned above.
• We appreciate if you proofread your work for any errors before submission.
• By submitting your work, you agree to grant RovingHeights blog non-exclusive rights to publish and promote your content on our platform.

Note:

• Currently, RovingHeights blog does not offer monetary compensation for submissions.
• However, we value our contributors and appreciate your passion for literature. We may consider compensation for submissions in the future, and we will inform you if any changes occur.
