THE PARAMOUNT PRINCE OF IKAIN IS BACK!
At about 2 am this morning, a sleek, custom-made royal blue Lincoln Navigator sped into Omarville, the capital of the Sovereign Kingdom of Ikain, and made its way to the palace. With its tinted windows, cryptic number plates, and noiseless engine complementing all the other features of moneyed ownership, this bird was the very definition of quiet luxury.
As some may recall, on one frosty morning in January 1996, another imposing-looking royal blue SUV had been spotted speeding through the roads of Omarville to Lusland, on its way to the airport. By noon that day, rumours had become rife that two-year-old Prince Uzhordin was missing. This prompted the palace to issue a statement stating they had taken him out of the country for reasons they couldn’t yet disclose to the good people of Ikain.
Today, 25 years later, in a somewhat reverse fashion, history repeats itself. Based on information from usually reliable sources, we are certain that one of the passengers in the blue vehicle is the now-adult paramount prince. The Grapevine is ecstatic to have the long-lost heir back and ready to ascend the throne, assuming he passes the great Edu of the year and doesn’t lose to either of the other two heirs. However, I am certain I speak for all Ikain when I ask: Can a foreign-raised prince rule Ikain?
Good morning, Ikain!
